Mr. Hickman turned for inspiration in this newest collection to the endlessly fascinating landscape of the human face. Personis Naturalis is a deep creative rumination on the “natural mask” of the human face—whether we notice it or not, admit it or deny it, perhaps the most-observed subject in our lives.
This collection is third in a series of solo exhibitions of Mr. Hickman’s work to be presented by Arts Mission Oak Cliff as an Artist-in-Residence
The exhibition opening reception will be Jan. 25th, the show runs through the 31st.
