An evening of love letters read aloud by AMOC artists and community members.
Feb 20-28 | Virtual Link | Suggested Donation - $10
The love letter is not dead.
We are devoting a whole evening to lost, new, historical, hysterical, heartbreaking, short, long, textual love letters read by our community members. If you have received a love letter, sitting on one you never sent, or are inspired to write a new one to your spouse, child, doula, a bully from the 4th grade, or inanimate object, we would love to have you submit a short video of yourself reading it. Submissions are due by 5pm on Tuesday, February, 16th. We will create a final program from all selected submissions, which will be available to view for a suggestion of $10. Let’s laugh and cry together over love lost and found.
Video Submission Guidelines — Submission by end of day Feb 16
Please limit submissions to one per person. If multiple entries are received by an individual, AMOC staff will choose only one (1) submission. Submissions should not exceed 5 minutes. The ideal length of a submission is 2-3 minutes. Please orient your camera horizontally. Using a tripod is best, but if you don't have one, try propping your camera up on a flat, steady surface.
To ensure that you have good light and sound quality, make sure you are in a well lit area (natural light is best) and in a quiet space with little to no background noise. At the beginning of your video, please record a short introduction with your name and a brief explanation/background about the letter you are reading.
Send your completed video and attached submission form/release to contact@artsmissionoc.com Subject Line: Love Letter
If you would like to set up a time to come to AMOC to have your submissions recorded onsite,
