Mariachi Santa Cecilia, is part of the St. Cecilia Musical Institute, which was established in November of 2019 here in Dallas. This music ensemble and program was created with the intention of giving local community kids the opportunity to acquire the necessary musical skills for advanced instrumental and vocal performance. As part of the program, cultural identity, musicianship, responsibility ,and social skills are always a big part of their rehearsals and presentations. These kids perform for local musical events and are especially committed in providing liturgical music for several of the local parishes in the DFW metroplex.
