Whether you are just learning to draw for the first time or you are looking to fine-tune your technique, in this week-long summer camp we'll work on developing drawing techniques, creating characters, & exploring page layout.

We'll explore character anatomy, facial expressions, basic object drawing, and the comic book landscape, as well as look at different styles of art, storytelling, & learning about different comic book worlds!

Students will progress at their own pace & receive individual feedback & guidance. We will have drawing games & challenges designed to help you practice, get the creative mind going, & show you how fun art can be! Classes will be live-streamed & students will receive access to recorded video tutorials & extra material.

About the Teacher:

Bobby Garcia is a local martial artist, fight choreographer, teacher, & stuntman who uses art to brainstorm his ideas, plan his own projects, & used to make his living as a freelance artist & comic designer. He was the inspiration for The Immortal Red Fox's "Wushu Mantis" super hero - he literally IS a comic book character!
