Designation as Protection Workshop

As part of the Artist-in-Residence (AiR) at Arts Mission Oak Cliff, Victoria Ferrell-Ortiz will be engaging the community by hosting workshops and an exhibit. The “Este Lugar Importa” Exhibit’s purpose is to commemorate the advocacy and integrity of automotive businesses and ensure they have a place in Oak Cliff’s future.

This workshop will discuss efforts to preserve and protect Latinx heritage, including conservation districts and advocacy strategies for it.
