Raven’s Night | An Annual Meeting of the Raven Society
Oct 9 | 5:30pm VIP | 6:30pm Patron | $250-400
On the eve of Wednesday, October 9th, the Raven’s Society will meet for the first time in Dallas at Arts Mission Oak Cliff for an immersive evening of dinner theater that celebrates and delves into a selection of Poe’s work – just in time for Halloween.
Artistic directors Emily Ernst (Fair Assembly), Avery-Jai Andrews (Arts Mission Oak Cliff), and Mac Welch (Teatro Dallas) have adapted three ghostly tales for the stage – featuring local dancers, actors, musicians, filmmakers, and poets – and in a room that will imaginatively transport you to an American Gothic era.
Leap into autumn and enjoy a Raven cocktail with us at 5:30pm (VIP) or 6:30pm (Patron) and a devilishly fine dinner at 7:30pm. Chef Justo Blanco and Boxwood Hospitality have creatively devised an elevated dinner fit for guys and ghouls.
Attire is American Gothic. Show us your inner raven soul and don’t forget Poe’s favorite color was purple.
Net proceeds from the 2024 TACA Fall Arts Crawl and Raven's Night directly support TACA's investments in the local arts community in the form of grants, programs, and community engagement.
