Marbled Mess Art Class with Natalie Marshall

marbled_mess.jpg

Marbling is the ancient craft of suspending pigment on liquid and transferring the design onto a solid surface. Intuitive use of coloring with multiple variations of paints and other specific agents, move through one another harmoniously, often naturally shaping themselves into an appearance resembling variegated marble and other lustrous rock types. This mesmerizing process results in stunning and unique pieces of art.

Oak Cliff local artist & mother, Natalie Marshall, has spent the last few years studying and working with this and many other types of fluid mixed media, which she utilizes to create fascinating one-of-a-kind works of art. Now, ready to share this exciting yet tranquil artform with others – coupled with inspiring support from AMOC – we are thrilled to be able to offer an array of painting classes that will be open to all levels of experience, beginning in February 2019. Parents who are ROC – Raising Oak Cliff supporters will receive a special discount on classes!
