Exposed to music at an early age, Adam Douglas always knew that music would be more than an extra-curricular activity for him. Following his curiosity, Adam would go on to study and become proficient on the euphonium, tuba, trombone, saxophone, and piano.

During his studies at Prairie View A & M University, Adam participated in various ensembles including, concert band, brass ensemble, along with serving four years as a baritone player for the PVAMU Marching Storm and an inaugural member of the PVAMU Trombone Choir.

Adam has dedicated his life to educating and mentoring youth in the Dallas Fort Worth area through music and arts advocacy.

It’s refreshing to walk into a space and everybody there understands you and your mission as an artist, teacher, or mentor. Arts Mission Oak Cliff has truly allowed me to grow and meet some wonderful people in the process!
